Last week, I professed my love for seeing your drawers, and I was so delighted to see these beauties arrive in my mailbox! How charming is the fact that each of these artists’ inspirational drawers compliments their blog banners in ambiance and style? What inspires us truly permeates through all aspect of our life!

Without further ado, please say hello (or a kind comment) to these wonderful artists and their not-so-shy drawers!

From the inspirational Livy of A Field Journal, whose blog just takes my breath away upon every visit: This is my drawer of trinkets I’m holding onto…some objects have a particular memory attached – the menu from the “birthday tea” I put together for my best friend, the second prize ribbon I won for my favorite painting, and the cocktail umbrella from my cousin’s college graduation (at which I greedily drank 8 (virgin) pina coladas and ended up with the worst stomachache of my life!).

From the creative Heather of Lark & Lola whose talents for creating ephemera collages are splendid: I call this my “Ephemera Drawer” and I keep all the beautiful antique labels and papers and letters I find in there, as well as other pretty things I plan to use in my crafts. When I’m having “Crafter’s Block” or am trying to unwind from a stressful day, I LOVE to pull open my Ephemera Drawer and see what lovely little items I can use in a craft. Some people keep a little secret stash of chocolate for themselves, well, this is my equivalent, as an artist.

What are you hiding in your drawers? If you care to share, please send me an email. I’d love to see your drawers too!
