			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<!-- Start Shareaholic LikeButtonSetTop Automatic --><!-- End Shareaholic LikeButtonSetTop Automatic --><p style="text-align: left;">The creativity of <a title="repurposing" href="http://poetichome.com/category/repurposed-upcycled/" target="_self">repurposing</a> always makes me incredibly happy.  My first encounter with repurposing was my first week in college, when I was meandering towards campus via colorful Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley and found a street vendor clanking away at vintage spoons &#8212; and I happily walked away with a spoon ring that I still have to this day!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">These stunning chandeliers, upon closer inspection, are made with antique silverware pieces &#8212; which are perfect for their shine and sparkle.  My favorite come from the Montreal artist Francois Legault, whose &#8220;bloom&#8221; pendants made of spoons have such beautiful organic shape.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Do you use your silverware for other purposes beyond eating?</p>
