If Poetic Home Designed a Vintage Motorcycle…
When I was young and reckless just five years ago, I would ride around on the back of my boyfriend’s (who turned into my husband) GSXR motorcycle wearing cocktail dresses and stilettos after partying around Honolulu. While I thought we looked quite dashing then, imagine if we were riding around on this BMW motorcycle, as seen via materialiste! It’s not just a rendering — but a real Art Deco motorbike that BMW recently found in a crate in one of their “sheds.” It was created before WWI, but never went into full production. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that it does one day!

Wow! That is fantastic. When I was 19, I wasn’t afraid to do daring things and took a class that taught me how to ride a motorcycle. I had a motorcycle instead of a car for years. It was so much fun!

that is one fierce machine. wow! my brother had a 192? bmw motorcycle and it was such a headache. he had to put lead back into the gas and i don’t really think it was meant to be used at this point.

I know I’m being a bit of a nag, but a cocktail dress and stilettos is NOT appropriate motorbike wear. At a bare minimum you should be wearing a motorbike specific jacket, helment, full length pants, gloves, and boots that go past the ankle.
Nicole – you are absolutely right! I was very young, reckless, and stupidly irresponsible….and I hope that all bikers take your advice to heart. Thank you for sharing!
