Repurposed Card Catalog Transforms into Table

Although card catalogs do not need any further nostalgic appeal, Summerswann repurposed a thrifted card catalog (which she purchased for only $7!) into a unique coffee table.  After putting in hours of sanding and staining, she added mid-century modern inspired legs, and voila!  A fantastic repurposed conversation piece was born.  Not only does she have plenty of storage, but I especially love the original organization tags.

Love it! I am always on the lookout for a card catalog. Sadly, I have yet to encounter one for sale (excluding Ebay).

Yeah, she was amazingly lucky to find such a deal! And she did an amazing job refinishing this beauty, lots of elbow grease. I love seeing this piece getting great attention right now in the blogosphere, it deserves it… thanks for posting this, Grace! :~)
