We got the first rain in San Jose last Saturday. It was nice to wake up and discovered that the earth was wet. I was so excited for my plants. Have been liking the change of season. Love the overcast cloudy sky and subdue light. Fall colors are not distinct here, but was happy to find fallen leaves here and there. While driving to Yosemite, I had a few ideas for my art projects. I'm in SoCal too, so I understand the lag in the seasons. I look forward to the bright autumn days when there is a bite of chill in the air but lots of sun. This weekend, we were priveledged to be vendors at an art fair that was outside. I realized how wonderful it was to just sit, chat, relax and truly breathe in the autumn air. Next weekend, it'll be slipping on a cozy sweater and exploring the pumpkin patch. So many things are inspiring this fall. Time to slow down and enjoy weekend auctions, leaf peeping and crisp air.
