Repurposed Metalwork Delights

The appeal of vintage industrial chic is timeless — and Randy from Kramer Design Studio really takes metalwork repurposing to a new level of style.  From upcycling weathered steel railings into fabulous headboards, and utilizing chain links (that weigh 15 pounds each!) to create the most unique tables, to giving clock faces new lives as coffee tables, Randy is a great source of metalwork inspiration!

I have been headboardless (this word should be added to the next Websters dictionary update) for years! It is great to see that a simple iron work, mounted above the bed would upgrade my look.

That second headboard is just dreamy – it would be a piece of art all on its own!

Oh yeah, I have zeroed in on headboard no. 2 as well! What a great piece of industrial drama, these steel railings are magnificent! Of course, would be a very rude awakening if it fell on one’s head while sleeping Need a pro installation for sure. :~)

Yes the second silvery headboard is my favorite too :) The scrolls are very romantic. I totally concur Amy — these headboards would need a professional install, which is what the talented Randy does so well.
