The weekend to create

Your comments in the vintage sewing giveaway (which is open until Sunday) really inspire me!  With so many wonderful sewing projects in mind, I crafted a reminder for all of us to continue to create…and this vintage spool will also be included in the giveaway.

Creating is the essence of life -Julius Caeser

A few weeks ago, I picked up sheets of vintage transfer type, which I was hoping I could utilize on non-paper items.  Transfer type + wooden spools?  Voila!  It turns out vintage spools are perfect…as is any smooth, porous surface, I suspect.

From sewing projects to transfer type, and everything in between, I wish you a marvelous weekend full of creation!  Thank you all for your wonderful inspirations, and I’ll be back on Monday to announce the winner of the fun giveaway!

@Markus I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?
