I can never look at my sad, lil’ white refrigerator the same now that I have fallen head-over-heals in love with the Big Chill Fridge‘s vintage appliances that have all our modern conveniences.  I have resisted purchasing an old vintage refrigerator because of the high energy needs, as well as the required defrosting, but these Big Chill refrigerators have energy efficiency and no need to ever defrost.  At about $2600 per fridge, the price is higher than your standard refrigerator, but they certainly add that invaluable vintage design appeal – not to mention property value if you sell your home!  Plus, they have matching vintage inspired dishwashers now…and their stoves are coming out very soon!  With the entire rainbow of colors, these vintage inspired designs may inspire me to cook more (at least that’s how I’ll pitch it at the budget discussion with the hubby)!

(P.S. does anyone have a hankie I can borrow for my spots of drool?)
